A working and coordination meeting was held in Padua, Italy, between 10–12 June 2026 within the framework of the Erasmus+ KA220-HED project HEQUITY – Building Higher Education Quality InclUsion PaThwaYs, funded by the European Union. Hosted by Popoli Insieme, a non-governmental organization based in Padua, the meeting brought together representatives of partner institutions involved in the project. Participants engaged in activities related to the development of one of the project's key outputs, the HEQUITY Toolkit.
The meeting began with a social dinner on the evening of 10 June, providing an opportunity for partners to come together and strengthen collaboration. The main working sessions took place on 11 June at Job Campus in Padua. Throughout the day, participants tested and evaluated the activities that will be included in the toolkit, assessed their applicability, and discussed possible improvements. In addition, brainstorming sessions were organized to further develop sections of the toolkit that are still under preparation.
On 12 June, participants continued working on one of the final toolkit activities before concluding the program with an online project coordination and evaluation meeting attended by all project partners. During this session, the current progress of project activities was reviewed, the upcoming work schedule was discussed, and responsibilities for completing the toolkit were finalized. The program for the workshop to be hosted by Sakarya University was also presented to the partners for feedback and approval. Following the comments and contributions of the partner institutions, the program was finalized, and it was agreed to proceed with its official announcement.
This productive study visit in Padua provided partners with an important opportunity to collaboratively develop the content of the HEQUITY Toolkit, which focuses on promoting inclusion and equity in higher education. The meeting strengthened cooperation among project partners and contributed significantly to the development of more inclusive practices within higher education institutions.
